A clearer path through your child's care.
The Developmental Compass is a neuroscience-guided consulting service for parents of children ages 0–12 navigating therapy, evaluations, and developmental concerns from OT, Speech, PT, Tutoring, behavioral therapy, neuropsych evaluations, IEPs, or any combination of therapy and developmental interventions.
We walk you through every step: understanding what's going on, which therapies your child needs and why, how they connect, and which to start first or combine to maximize progress. Every recommendation is grounded in current, rigorous reviewed research — not guesswork. It is a tailored approach, not a one-size-fits-all advice.
Guided by a neuroscience researcher and a parent of three who has navigated each process firsthand, you get a clear, personalized plan in place of costly trial and error.
What you get
A working plan we build together based on your families goals, your child’s profile, our consultation, and a brief questionnaire. We tailor a guide focused on you and your family - we track your child’s progress and give you a guide based on research, connecting all the therapies so you understand the big picture. Therapists are specialized for a reason, but it’s all connected. We take what each of your child's providers has told you, translate it into plain language, and show you how it connects: how progress in one area is likely to move another, what to expect on a realistic timeline, and where to focus first for the outcome your family needs.
Who this is for
Some families come to us early — something feels off, and they don't yet know what to ask or where to begin. We help guide you to specific evaluations. Others arrive mid-journey, already three or four providers deep, holding a stack of reports that don't quite add up to a plan. Both are exactly who this is built for. Wherever you're starting from, we meet you there.
Why it matters
Without someone connecting the dots, therapy decisions tend to happen reactively — one appointment leading to the next, with months passing before you find out two services were supposed to reinforce each other, or that you started in the wrong order. Getting that sequence right the first time protects two things families can't get back: time, and money spent on the wrong starting point. We also track progress to ensure you’re meeting the goals that are important to you.
